Water Bugs

Today we went to hang out with Devon and Hailey at the pool at their hotel.  Kate was at her training for work, and Marc was at work, so it was just all the cousins.

Miss P fell asleep on the way there, so she swam for a little bit but wasn't to happy about it.
It was chilly at first too, so that probably didn't help either.

She did LOVE putting her feet in the hot tub water with me though.  Loves warm water, just like her mama!
Mattie on the other hand was being my little fish as always. He spent almost the entire time in the pool and loved every minute of it.  We need to work on the swimming without the swimmies some more, but at least we aren't afraid of being in the water or swimming in the entire pool.

Miss Hailey is also a little fish.  That girl has NO fear of the water at all!  She can thank her daddy for that one!
I think between the three of them, they have gone through a pound of goldfish crackers in the last few days!

Memories and Visitors

Today would have been Baba's (my grandma) birthday. I really miss talking to her and spending time with her.  It really sucked to have lost both of my grandma's within 40 days of each other.  I think about them both a lot and hope they are enjoying themselves in Heaven.

Today we spent most of the day outside with Devon, Kate, Hailey, Daddy and Uncle Ronnie.

Daddy worked on the chicken coop a little more while the kiddos ran around, played in the sand and water table and got all messy!

I'm glad the kids are getting to play with each other for a few days since we live so far away from each other.
Silly Hailey!

Chalk Paint

We decided to try out one of the many outside activities we have pinned to our Outdoor Activities board on Pinterest.  We've wanted to try the chalk paint for awhile now, but the weather or naps kept winning out on the days we were planning on it.

The recipe was SO simple!
1 cup of cornstarch
1 cup of water
food coloring

We put it in old muffin tins so we could make lots of different colors and bought cheap paint brushes at Walmart because those foam ones would have been eaten by the driveway very quickly.
We painted on paper, rocks, the driveway, our cheeks and legs.  You name it!  They both loved it and we WILL be doing it again.  You have to keep mixing it up or the cornstarch settles to the bottom.  The blue also stained their skin at first, but all the colors came off with just a simple bath.
Try it out, its fun!!!

{Erin Condren Giveaway}

Ok, so its no secret that I LOVE to be organized, and anything that can help me do that is an A+ in my book.  I recently came across a company that makes "the best" planners I've ever seen.....AND BONUS....they are personalized for YOU!

I bought the Month-at-a-Glance planner because I dont personally write on all those individual day ones, I usually just use the huge monthly calendar.  So this one has two full pages of a whole month.  PLUS, it has lots of lined paper and blank paper, labels for the months already written out for you for those special events, plus a TON of blank ones for you to use for whatever you want. There are so many cool things in this planner.

They even have the option to put your own pictures on the front/back of your planner for an additional charge.

BUT its not just planners that they have.  They have iPhone cases...which let me tell you I WILL be getting if I decide to change to an iPhone next.
Not to mention, trays, photo canvas, growth charts, iPad stickers, address labels, gift cards, calendars, notebooks, teacher's lesson planners (which are so awesome), stationery, invitations.....pretty much anything you can imagine!

Check it out for yourself!!! Erin Condren

Here's mine: {Did I mention that I LOVE IT?!}

Please forgive my sideways pics...my computer WONT flip them for here.

Want your chance to get $25 off your very own Erin Condren purchase???

Enter here:  All you have to do is follow the steps below and you are on your way.

Giveaway will run from December 1 through December 5.

Tiny Prints Cards!!!

I love sending out Christmas cards.  I usually send out between 50-70 cards.  I love getting photo cards from my friends, and I save them at the end of the year.  Its so much fun to see how much everyone's kids grow over the years.

My Christmas cards started out being my two kitties in some kind of Christmas gear.  Since having kids, they have been added to my kitty Christmas cards.  This year will be no different!  It just gets harder having to get 4 faces and personalities to cooperate with me.  I usually take between 60-80 pics for about 2-3 to come out usable!

Ive been checking out Tiny Prints this year since they had an awesome deal on getting a free Santa card sent to my kids!  They LOVED it...well Mattie did, Paityn really doesn't get it yet.

So far my favorites are:

Cant wait to decide which ones to do.....Better get going on taking my pictures!!!! :)

Ill post the final product when its done!!!!!
